Did you know Wadi Rum has one of the most beautiful sunrises? Step in the hot air balloon and fly peacefully above the desert, seeing the landscape and all the different colors come to life, as most tourists are still sleeping and missing out on this magical experience. You will see the different rock formations, sand dunes and the small villages around the desert. Wadi Rum is such a big area that could take hours to explore by jeep. But the hot air balloon ride gives you the chance to experience it all in a short time. You will be amazed at how big the desert really is. And there is an experienced pilot with you, that can tell you all about the area. A unique experience to discover the beauty of Wadi Rum.

Balloon ride without overnight stay
We will meet you at the Visitors Center where you can park your car for free. We will bring you to the balloon in our jeep. The pilot will do a briefing and explain everything about the hot air balloon ride. You have time to prepare yourself and ask questions. Then your hot air balloon ride starts, and you will fly above the desert for about 50 to 60 minutes. After the balloon ride we will bring you back to the Visitors Center by jeep.ā

Balloon ride with overnight stay
You will sleep in a tent in our camp. Wake up and prepare yourself and leave your luggage at the camp. Between 05:00 and 05:30 we start the trip, and we drive you to the hot air balloon. The pilot will do a briefing and explain everything about the hot air balloon ride. You have time to prepare yourself and ask questions. Then your hot air balloon ride starts, and you will fly above the desert for about 50 to 60 minutes. After the flight we will bring you back to the camp where you can enjoy your breakfast. Then you can pack your bags and we will drop you off at the parking in Wadi Rum Village, usually between 09:30 and 10:30. If you want to leave straight after the balloon ride, that is also possible.

You can only join if you are in good health. You must be able to stand for the entire flight without assistance.

The pilot is in charge, always listen to him and follow his instructions.

The pilot decides whether it is responsible to fly. We aim to let you know ate least 24 hours in advance if the balloon ride gets cancelled. But the pilot can at any moment decide to cancel the flight. You will not get charged if the flight is cancelled.

Transfer to and from the Visitors Center is free. A transfer to and from our camp is 40 JOD per jeep. Pick up from other camps might be possible, ask us for the options.
