Experience the true Bedouin hospitality in our traditional camp, owned and operated by our warm and welcoming Bedouin family. Located in the middle of the desert, the views are amazing! Hidden in a valley, you are surrounded by mountains on one side, and the red desert landscape on the other side.

Our small and cozy camp is the best place to disconnect from the world and connect with the locals and nature around you. When you enter the campsite you will be welcomed by your Bedouin host who shows you around.
The main tent is a meeting point for tourists and locals, where we like to come together to eat, tell stories, dance or just relax. We can teach you our Bedouin Dabke dance, or you can connect your device and we can dance to your favorite music. For more privacy, you have your own private tent with a mountain view.

Relax in our outside lounge area while watching the sunset, and enjoy the silence, taking in the peaceful and breathtaking scenery. When you are lucky, you will see camel herds pass by. āAt night our cave lounge is the perfect place to unwind around the campfire, in search for shooting stars. āāWe find it important to keep the traditional style alive in our Wadi Rum camp, but we also have some modern facilities like charging stations and modern toilets and showers. We have space for solo travelers, couples, friends, families and groups.

Overnight in the camp
āAll rooms in our Bedouin camp are private and have a large panoramic window to overlook the desert from your bed. The rooms can accommodate 1-5 persons. We find it important to keep the traditional style alive in our Wadi Rum camp, but our rooms also have modern facilities to make your stay more comfortable. There is electricity and sockets and we have a separate building with modern showers and restrooms, in walking distance from your tent. We offer a traditional buffet dinner at night and a local breakfast in the morning. There is free water and tea available throughout your stay.

camp location
Your adventure begins in Wadi Rum Village, where we warmly welcome you and pick you up with our jeep to take you into the heart of the desert. Our camp is nestled in a serene and secluded valley, far from the noise and distractions of modern life. Wadi Rum has a red desert and white desert, and we are located right at the border where you can see the colors change. Here, surrounded by towering sandstone mountains and endless red sands, you’ll experience the true essence of Bedouin life. This peaceful location allows you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert, enjoying authentic Bedouin vibes and hospitality under a star-filled sky.
Important to know

2 transfers are included for free. 1 transfer at check in (between 15:00 and 19:00) and 1 transfer at check out (usually between 08:30 and 09:30). The pick up and drop off point is the Rest House in Wadi Rum Village, next to the parking.

Checking in- or out at other times is only possible on request. The surcharge is 10 -15 JOD per jeep ride, depending on the time

If the camp is fully booked, we reserve the right to transfer you to another camp with similar style and facilities.

The overnight in the camp can only be booked in combination with a tour. For 5 persons or more we can make an exception (only on request)

We run an eco-friendly camp with electricity from solar panels. We usually have electricity all day, but in the wintertime it can sometimes happen that we run out of power.
